Care of Ferrets
Just like any pet, ferrets take commitment each day to their well being.
- Ferrets should have proper housing, places to climb and hammocks to lounge on.
- Ferrets are meat eaters, just like a cat - they do not eat carrots or greens.
- Feeding them the proper food is essential to their health.
- Making sure they have clean litter boxes and potty carpets helps with training.
- Ferrets sleep 15 to 22 hours a day, they do need excercise and play time out of their cage daily.
- Ferret proofing your home is important, they are also kleptomaniacs!
